New York to San Francisco in Twelve Minutes! Revolutionary New Book Tells You How

SUN CITY, Ariz., July 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Imagine a coast-to-coast trip that would take twelve minutes, a trip from New York to Boston that would take only three minutes. Fiction? Think again. In the revolutionary new book, TRANSAT, author "Raff " Rafferty has it all figured out.

In TRANSAT, Rafferty presents the new ultimate mass transportation system developed over a lifetime of thoughtful progression. The book is a proposal to the people to create the TRANSAT Corporation and design, develop, construct and operate this feasible but visionary system. It provides an ultimate network allowing trips from anywhere on earth to anywhere on earth in only minutes! The proposal begins with a simulated ride experience on this fast transportation system, continues with a description of its features, illustrates the physics and mathematics of its operation, and carries through the proposed development of the TRANSAT Corporation and its economics.

The fascinating concept of TRANSAT providing transportation from point to point anywhere in the world in just minutes is an extremely provocative solution to one of the world's most significant problems. "Furthermore, it provides the phenomenon of significant cost reduction in both people transport and commerce transport," says Rafferty. "The TRANSAT concept solves many of the world's problems that presently exist because of our existing transit systems. It solves the energy requirement problem, the environmental pollution problems, the increasing cost problem. It brings the whole world's people closer together," says Rafferty.
