'Wild Thing' Now Pitching for the Wild Side at Trump Marina

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., July 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- He made a career of getting players out. Now he'll be welcoming them in.

Trump Marina is pleased to announce that former Philadelphia Phillie and All-Star reliever Mitch "Wild Thing" Williams has joined the Trump team as our newest National Marketing Executive.

One of major league baseball's most colorful and exciting pitchers in the 1980s and '90s, Williams played for the Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, California Angels and Kansas City Royals. As the team's "closer," he was a key member of the 1993 National League Champion Phillies. He retired as an active player for the Kansas City Royals in 1997.

No stranger to the shore, Williams served as pitching coach for the Atlantic City Surf in 2001 and 2002. He was named the Surf's manager midway through the 2003 season and guided the team to a second half South Division title.

"We think Mitch will be an outstanding addition to our roster of casino hosts," said Senior V.P. of Marketing, Todd Moyer. "His upbeat and outgoing personality will be a perfect fit with our guests and players."

"We invite everyone to stop by and say hello to Mitch. I know he's looking forward to getting to know all of our star players."

Trump Marina ("On the wild side of Atlantic City") is one of three Trump hotel-casinos in Atlantic City, and is a particular favorite with younger and sophisticated visitors for its casually hip attitude, top-name acts like Norah Jones, Sammy Hagar, and Colin Quinn, and its striking location.
