Pediatric Prosthetics Incorporated Evaluates Trip to Tampa Bay Conference

HOUSTON, July 26, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The management team of Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. (Pink Sheets:PDPR) had the opportunity to speak one-on-one to over 1,200 neo-natal and delivery room nurses during the four days of the exhibition.

The warmth of the reception and the appreciation expressed by each of the nurses has provoked PDPR management to immediately begin a national mailing campaign, intended to reach every Labor-Delivery nursing department in some 7,000 hospitals across the country.

As the President, Linda Putback-Bean expressed it: "Almost every single nurse we spoke to asked us to provide them a folder to place in their 'stash drawer' of resources for young families they will work with. They made us feel very appreciated for bringing state of the art technology with us, much of which they had never seen before. When we told them we are ready and able to come to their city to work with their families' doctors, they were absolutely astonished...and delighted."

Kenneth Bean, VP Operations made a quiet disclaimer. "This effort wasn't designed to be a Whiz-bang one time sales event at all. Given only a thousand children born in a given year with a limb-loss, the chance that any one of the 1,200 nursing departments contacted would have a delivery scheduled with a limb -loss involved currently, is very small. Nevertheless, the relationships established with these nurses will provide the solid long-term 'underlayment' for our entire national referral network."

Having said that, Bean went on to say that PDPR has already received 3 inquiries as a direct result of the partnering effect they had hoped to begin there in Tampa Bay.
