Investors may want to keep an eye on Rincon Resources (OTCBB:RIRI), First Federal Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:FFBZ) and Allos Therapeutics (Nasdaq:ALTH).

Investors may want to check out Rincon Resources (OTCBB:RIRI), a gold exploration and development company, as it seems they have taken steps to solidify the company's growth and success. Rincon announced on Tuesday after the closing bell -- "its new management team. The new management at Rincon Resources better reflects the direction that the company is taking and believes the future for gold is very strong. With the company's recent announcement of the Tudor Gold Project acquisition, Rincon Resources is planning the immediate launch of a comprehensive, property wide, surface exploration program based on indications for a large gold resource." The company has also launched its new website at www.RinconResources.com. RIRI currently trades at around .18 a share.
On the Nasdaq trading well Tuesday was First Federal Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:FFBZ), as they announced on Tuesday that Park National Corp. (AMEX:PRK) has agreed to acquire the company which will result in the merger of the two Ohio-based banks. Under terms of the agreement, shareholders of First Federal will receive $13.25 in cash for each share.
Allos Therapeutics (Nasdaq:ALTH) announced on Tuesday that "the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) awarded orphan drug status to the Company's lead clinical candidate, EFAPROXYN(TM) (efaproxiral) for use as an adjunct to whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT) for the treatment of brain metastases in patients with breast cancer. EFAPROXYN(TM) is currently being investigated in a Phase 3 clinical trial in this indication at leading cancer centers across North America." ALTH ended up Tuesday 0.47 (28.66%) to close at $2.11.
