(TLI), a new nutraceutical and phytochemical ingredient company, announced today the creation of a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to serve as a link between corporate decision-makers and the end users of the company's products. "The SAB is a group of leading scientists, physicians and business executives who will enable Tharos Laboratories to be on the leading edge of product innovation and strengthen our mission of providing high quality, science-based nutraceutical ingredients and retail products," said Nikos Linardakis, M.D., President and CEO of the Company.
The Science Advisory Board will be a distinguished body of medical and research specialists, health experts and eminent physicians who are recognized in their respective fields. The committee members will be drawn from a broad mix of academia, industry and communities throughout the United States. They will not make day-to-day decisions for TLI, but will meet quarterly to discuss relevant issues, review policies and procedures and evaluate research and product development. They will also review grant and fellowship applications for funding.
The SAB includes such distinguished clinical and research scientists as marine biologist and NASA scientist Norman Wainwright, Ph.D., Director, world renowned research scientist from Rutgers University Amy Howell, Ph.D., sleep scientist Alexander Golbin, M.D., Ph.D., and medical author and physician executive Nikos M. Linardakis, M.D.
