(Nasdaq:APII), a leading toy designer and manufacturer of educational and positive, non-violent branded toys for children in preschool through primary grades, announced today that the Company has gained new distribution in approximately 200 stores in Australia. Target Australia Pty. Ltd. has agreed to feature the complete line of Jay Jay The Jet Plane Wooden Adventure System(tm) in both its Target Australia and Target Country stores. The line will include all Jay Jay The Jet Plane(tm) characters, buildings, accessories and playtable in approximately 4 feet of space within the toy departments. Initial shipments are expected to begin in September 2004 and be on Target's shelves by late October. Additionally, Target will be featuring the Jay Jay The Jet Plane Wooden Adventure System products in their upcoming holiday catalogs.
Based on the success that Action Products has enjoyed in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and elsewhere, it believes this new distribution will provide significant incremental sales in the coming months and through 2005.
