GTREX Names New Interim CEO

Company aggressively streamlining management and operations


NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- GTREX, Inc. (OTCBB:GRXI) announced today that it has appointed a new interim CEO, Christopher Berlandier. Berlandier and co-founder Ron Lindsey will spearhead new technology initiatives and streamline company's management and operations.

"I am extremely enthusiastic of my new role as interim CEO," stated Berlandier. "We are initiating sweeping changes within GTREX to streamline our operation and are working diligently to implement a superior technology platform for the travel distribution industry."

Berlandier, a co-founder of GTREX, is an experienced entrepreneur, having launched several technology and system services companies. As a founder, CEO and CTO, he led the creation and development of Securesoft Systems, Inc., which provides corporations and government entities with a portable and scalable compliance software solution. Berlandier was awarded the Congressional Medal of merit for Small Business Contribution to the community and was appointed to the National Business Advisory Council. Berlandier studied computer science and business administration at Long Beach State University.

Lindsay, a co-founder of the company, is an expert on travel distribution. Lindsay has worked and consulted with several major airlines, owned and operated a corporate/leisure travel agency, and consulted in marketing operations, advertising campaigns and multimedia project development.
