OnScreen Technologies and Viasys Target Department of Transportation, Homeland Security and Emergency Response Applications with Next Generation Variable Message Signs


SAFETY HARBOR, Fla., Aug. 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- OnScreen Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:ONSC), a leader in the design of next generation Light Emitting Diode (LED) Displays and delivery systems, teams up with Viasys, a leading provider of infrastructure development and maintenance services for the transportation and power utility industries, and announced today the signing of a value added reseller agreement. Under the agreement, Viasys will begin offering OnScreen's advanced portable and fixed LED Variable Message Signs to its customers. The combined solution is designed to easily and cost effectively help municipalities, counties and Departments of Transportation overcome some of the costly challenges of deploying VMS signs that exist today.

According to Viasys, the federal government through the Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Administration and the Department of Homeland Security, has made transportation safety infrastructures a top priority by allotting more than $23.5 billion dollars towards the development and installation of intelligent transportation and security systems. Viasys, which installs and maintains the latest in traffic control, safety systems, and wireless communications solutions for every level of local, state and federal government, has played an important role in the implementation of many of the country's most visible and celebrated ITS installations.
