NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The following statement was issued today by the following law firms: Reitman Parsonnet, P.C.; Squitieri & Fearon, LLP; Deutsch Resnick, P.A.; and Bahan & Associates.

Two actions have been filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey against The Home Depot, Inc., Illeana L. Connally, The Maintenance Warehouse Future Builder Administrative Committee and John Does 1-10.

The lawsuits are on behalf of current and former Home Depot, Inc. employees.

Plaintiffs seek to recover unpaid wages and benefits on their own behalf and on behalf of all others similarly situated.
