Communications Research to Aggressively Market Introduction of TeleWRITER-AGS


MAHWAH, N.J., Sept. 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communications Research, Inc. (OTCBB:CRHI) announced today it has begun the first stage of their market awareness plan for TeleWRITER-AGS this Fall and Winter.

TeleWRITER will exhibit at Collaborative Computing and Distant learning trade shows in the US and Canada to kick off the marketing. The company has entered into contracts to exhibit TeleWRITER-AGS at TechExpo, October 5-7, New York, NY, TechLearn, November 16-18, New York, NY and IMCCA International Collaborative Computing Exposition, February, 2005, New York, NY.

According to Mr. Carl Ceragno, President of Communications Research, parent company of TeleWRITER Corporation, "We will have a major presence in those trade shows we determine to provided the greatest exposure to the corporate and educational decision who use collaborative computing. This, along with a very aggressive direct mail and contact campaign lead by Mr. Jeff Cone, Director of Marketing, we expect product sales to ramp up quickly."

TeleWRITER AGS (Advanced Graphics System) has not been upgraded for over 5 years but nonetheless still commands a very loyal following. Communications Research acquired the software 4 years ago and will release the final version in late September as planned. At its peak, TeleWRITER-AGS had approximately a 60% share of the collaborative computing market in the mid-1990s. TeleWRITER-AGS has maintained a significant market share in the collaborative computing market, which is predicted to exceed $3 billion this year.
