Southeast United States Regional Security Advisor to Homeland Security Is AVIG's Newest Board Member

Dr. Bevan has accepted a board member position on the AIMSI Board of Directors

OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Sept. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- AIMSI Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Integrated Management Services, Inc. (OTCBB:AVIG), is pleased to announce that Thomas E. Bevan, Ph.D., has accepted a board member position on the AIMSI Board of Directors.

Bevan developed the Southeastern Alliance for Homeland Security for the United States. This is a joint collaboration of 18 esteemed universities and 3 federal agencies with a focus on the Southeastern region of the United States. This region includes several strategic infrastructure locations, including the Ports of Savannah, Charleston and New Orleans, naval bases in Georgia and Florida and the technological and industrial resources of the Southeast.

Bevan received his Ph.D. from Princeton and served as a Captain in the Army Medical Service Corps. He currently serves as Director of Georgia Tech's Center for Emergency Response Technology, Instruction and Policy. Bevan's knowledge and experience gained from collaborating with various United States governmental agencies will help to guide AIMSI's development of core Homeland Security technologies.

Reggie Hall, CEO of AIMSI Technologies, had this to say about Bevan's acceptance: "Dr. Bevan's incredible credentials and experience with the Homeland Security Unit and other governmental agencies will raise our Board of Directors and company to a new level of productivity and satisfaction for our shareholders."

Bevan helps to secure contracts for the domestic use of the New ALARM systems. The company has already established an international contract worth $225 million dollars for the purchase and distribution of a minimum of 15,000 units of the company's hand-held radiation detection device, the Automatic Large Area Remote Mapper (ALARM). China Global Distribution Corp., an international distribution company, will be purchasing the units from AIMSI.

About ALARM

The complexity of building a nuclear weapon is so great that the likelihood of delivery within in the United States is remote. However, dirty bombs are a threat. These are bombs laced with radiological and other hazardous materials which are dispersed when the weapon is detonated. The goal of a dirty bomb attack is to create a deadly environment and contaminate property from the resulting long-term effects of radiation, chemical and biological agents.

The ALARM System was developed with two goals: to assist in the detection of radiological, chemical, or biological materials, and to minimize the effect of materials that have been either accidentally or intentionally dispersed. The device is able to both detect and record the location or boundary of a hazard and is extremely sensitive. The rugged handheld device incorporates communications, GPS positioning technology, and swappable sensor modules that are customized for various applications. Multiple units can share data and relay information to a central location or operations center. Given recent events, ALARM has become an essential tool for a broad range of industries and agencies.
