JERUSALEM, Israel, Sept. 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Following the successful trip of CEO Yaacov Shoham to the United States about one month ago, significant progress has been made in the establishment of contractual relationships with several American companies. These companies will market and sell Identa products (PinkSheets:IDTA) - field kits for the identification of illicit drugs.
These new companies join Timcor from New York, which has been working on behalf of Identa for the past year. Timcor succeeded in marketing Identa products to the CVS chain through www.cvs.com and to ABDiagnostics from Florida.
The following are four out of the five new companies:

3. Falcon West, Inc. - Los Angeles. www.falconwestinc.com
4. Law Enforcement Technologies - Colorado Springs, Colorado. www.lawenforcetech.com
The contract with the fifth company, which we believe to be very important, has yet to be finalized. We assume that it will be possible to close a deal with them in the coming weeks.
Given the size and the importance of the American market, we are continuing our efforts to increase the number of local companies who distribute and sell Identa products.
Given the foregoing developments, we have kept to our original plan for entering the American market in 2004.
All of these activities are in addition to the advances Identa has made in other countries around the world. A summary of the developments in other markets will be included in upcoming announcements.
