This opening will showcase First Horizon's full array of financial products and services to local residents and businesses in a fun, family-friendly setting. The event, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 12170 Sunset Hills Road in Reston, is part of First Horizon's continuing commitment to provide high-quality financial counsel and the convenience that Washington area residents deserve.

The Reston grand opening event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Spiro and will include elected officials representing Reston and Fairfax County as well as the selected charity for the event, the YMCA Fairfax County Reston. During the event, First Horizon will make a $1,000 donation to the group for its longstanding commitment to the local metropolitan area. In addition, as new checking accounts are opened as a result of the event, YMCA will receive an additional donation of $25 per account.
