HOUSTON, Sept. 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The management team at Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. celebrates the close of its second quarter of business operations with a warm "welcome aboard" to all the new stock-owners, with a progress report and a glimpse of the future.
Kenneth Bean, VP Operations: "After a great running start, based largely upon Linda's on-going 19-year practice of prosthetics, we moved into our second quarter of operations. Quite candidly we were holding our collective breath.
"Were we making it possible for the young parents across the country to find us?
"Would they call us? Would they trust us with their child's prosthetic needs?
"We knew we could sustain profitable operations indefinitely with Linda's established practice, but to reach our objectives we understood very well that the key ... that is not a strong enough word ... 'the crucial imperative' ... was that we identify new parents, and earn their trust. Our first year's stated objective was to identify and provide our services to 50 new patient-families."
To date, Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. has identified 61 new prospective patient-families.
Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. has fitted 9 of those new patients.
