Osprey Gold Corp. Announces Appointment of Directors


TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Osprey Gold Corp. ("Osprey") (OTCBB:OSGL) today announced the appointment of Jean-Jacques Treyvaud and Linda Kent to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Mr. Treyvaud is a private consultant specializing in Financial Engineering, Corporate Finance, Investors' Relations, Portfolio Management and Investment Consulting for exclusive international clients and banks in Europe. He previously worked for the Government of Canada in various departments including the Secretary of State and the Departments of Finance, Sciences & Technology, and Regional Development Expansion. Following his many years with the Canadian government, Mr. Treyvaud was employed by several banks in Geneva, Switzerland, where he was able to use his considerable language skills (French, English, German and Italian) and his extensive and varied expertise.

Ms. Kent has been employed in the brokerage industry since 1979. Prior to joining Credifinance Securities Limited as Head of Trading in 2000, Ms. Kent was associated with a large investment firm, as Institutional Trader/Manager, for over 15 years, until the firm was purchased by a major bank.
