Transportation Logistics Acquires SAVAGE BEAUTY, Maker of Natural Skin Care Products

NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Transportation Logistics Int'l, Inc. (OTCBB:TRPL) announced today that it had purchased an 80% interest in J & J Marketing LLC in an all-stock transaction. J & J Marketing LLC, headquartered in Putnam County, New York, produces and distributes non-medicated pharmaceutical personal care products under the trademark "SAVAGE BEAUTY"(tm).

J & J Marketing, LLC sells its SAVAGE BEAUTY(tm) chemical and preservative-free skin care products to select luxury stores in the United States, Europe and Asia. Currently, most of SAVAGE BEAUTY(tm) sales are to Whole Foods Market, a 150-store nationwide chain with $3.4 billion in sales that dominates the natural-product marketplace in the United States.

SAVAGE BEAUTY(tm) has made unprecedented market penetration in the short time since its launch last year, and anticipates accelerating growth as a result of becoming a member of the TRPL family of companies and availing itself of TRPL's financial strength and its representation in other countries. Beyond expanding its marketing in natural product venues, J & J Marketing, LLC, is actively negotiating distribution rights for Europe as well as entry into U.S. mass market retailers.

Mike Margolies, Logistics Chairman and CEO, had this to say about the acquisition, "The positioning of these products in such a short time in a very demanding marketplace bespeaks of the quality of the line and the demand for chemical and preservative free skin care products. The acquisition of a producer of non-medicated pharmaceutical products is a natural fit with the goals of TRPL.

"It is our intention to greatly expand sales to the natural products market by acquiring distributors in the United States and abroad. Our modest goals for our first year are for an annualized revenue run rate of $2,000,000 for which we project a profit of $635,000.

"The key J & J Marketing, LLC management personnel are all remaining on the team. They include J & J's founder, designer and President, Jane Schub. Watch this space for the exciting results of the merger of their technical expertise with TRPL's organizational and financial strengths."
