Mass Connections Educates Shoppers on Latest Colgate Products


CERRITOS, Calif., Sept. 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mass Connections(r), the nation's industry leader in retail marketing services and consumer related promotions, initiated a successful Back-to-School promotional campaign on behalf of Colgate (NYSE:CL) in Stater Bros. grocery stores throughout the Southern California area. The event coincided with the latter half of August, typically noted as a busy period in the retail industry due to the beginning of the school year.

The campaign promoted the latest Colgate products including a variety of Colgate Toothpastes, Colgate Powered and Manual Toothbrushes, Lady's Speed Stick Deodorant, Fab Cleaner, Soft Soap, and Palmolive Dish Soap.

Mass Connections' Event Personnel that were involved promoted the latest Colgate products in Southern California Stater Bros' stores, talking with shoppers as they visited the event and distributing coupons, as well as assessing inventory of products before and after the event to see the success of the products.
