"Easy on a Day Like This"
It's easy on days like this. I mean, we've been saying "look out, the market is overbought. Downside is coming." And, that's what happened. A day like today, and I feel like we've done a good job for you -- you've seen the drop coming, and we're proud of role in alerting you to that.
But, not every day is like today. Some days just don't go "our" way. Although we pride ourselves on our ability to help you find stocks with upside, sometimes we just don't hit the mark like you'd probably like. You know we do our best. You know we work hard. You know too well, that we're human.
So, every day won't be "perfect". I suspect you know what that's like. We all have days we wish could be better. What do you do to help you through a day like that?
For me, work in my vegetable garden helps whittle down the pressures of a bad day. My neighbors probably think I've lost my mind sometimes while I plow up a row, or get on my knees to pull weeds. Yet, it's in the moments I spend in the garden that I find a great deal of peace. I hope that know matter what your take on the market, that you find a way to spend time outside of the frenzy we call "wall street". If you have kids, I hope you can enjoy them more and worry about your stocks less. If you have a hobby, I hope you find time to pursue it. The market is important, but here is something I've learned: The market is not as important as quality time with family, friends, or life-itself.
Speaking of the market, our take continues to be the same (probably sound like a "broken record"!). The Dow, S&P, and Nasdaq, all seem poised for more losses. By now, you've heard our rant about "raising stop/losses", and we hope you're doing it.
Now, it's time to go pick some late-season tomatoes! Like I said, it's "easy" on a day like this.
