MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 26, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jayson P. Ahern, Assistant Commissioner of United States Customs and Border Protection, will be at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), to brief media on the September 30 expansion of the US-VISIT program to include foreign visitors from Visa Waiver Program countries. He will describe US-VISIT procedures and how the program enhances our country's security while facilitating legitimate travel and trade through our borders.

WHEN: 1:00 PM PDT (media check-in, credentialing and screening begins at 12:00 NOON) Monday, September 27, 2004 WHERE: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal MEDIA CHECK IN: Southside patio on Lower/Arrival Level of Tom Bradley International Terminal. Media must check in by 12 noon for escort to news conference. All media press credentials/I.D.s will be checked. MEDIA PARKING: All broadcast-equipped media vehicles displaying a valid LAX Media Parking Permit may park terminal curbside on Upper/Departure Level between Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) and Terminal 4, or between Terminal 3 and TBIT, or in Vendor Lots 3, 4 or 6. Vehicles at curbside must be attended at all times. All other media may park in any parking structure. Parking will be validated.
