eLocity Inc. -- Stocks to Watch For Tuesday September 28: SCXC, PARL, DRXR


SARASOTA, Fla., Sept. 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The following is an investment opinion issued by eLocity Inc.

Sciax Corp (Pink Sheets:SCXC), Parlux Fragrances, Inc. (Nasdaq:PARL) and Drexler Technology Corp. (Nasdaq:DRXR).

Sciax Corp (Pink Sheets:SCXC), an emerging leader in defense imaging systems for law enforcement and military personnel engaged in counter-terrorism and other special security operations reported on Monday after the closing bell on two more sales to BP Canada, a large oil and gas industry customer, for endoscope equipment used in the visual inspection of large reciprocating engines.

"We intend to pursue sales opportunities in the oil and gas industry on an expanding basis and our long term partnership with Richard Wolf is a very important component of our strategy," stated Ralph Manore, Vice President of Operations for Sciax.

Parlux Fragrances, Inc. (Nasdaq:PARL)

Manufacturer and international distributor of prestige fragrances Parlux Fragrances, Inc. announced Monday that the launch of the Paris Hilton fragrance, originally scheduled for limited distribution during the upcoming holiday season, has been expanded to cover retailer demand.

Vice President of Domestic Sales for Parlux, David Schwanz, said, "The response to our recent presentations of the Paris Hilton fragrance to the U.S. department store market has been better than expected. A soft launch, originally scheduled for this November in 250 to 500 doors, is now scheduled for over 1,000 doors and increasing with each presentation."

Shares of PARL ended Monday's regular trading session up 14 percent, or 1.49 to $12.11 on volume of 668,696 shares.

Drexler Technology Corp. (Nasdaq:DRXR)

Advanced-technology cards manufacturer Drexler Technology Corp.announced after the closing bell Monday that it has received a follow-on order for about $5.0 million of LaserCard optical memory cards to be used as Permanent Resident Cards or Green Cards by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Drexler Tech. said that it would have to deliver about $700,000 worth of Green Cards per month from the end of September through March 2005, and added that it does not anticipate receiving any revenue from sales to the Department of Homeland Security during the quarter ending September 30 as it has not yet received a shipping schedule of the cards.

Shares of DRXR closed Monday's regular trading session at $7.78, down 29 cents, but was trading higher at $9.20 in the after-hours market.
