Once these premium numbers have been registered, the company shall approach cell phone providers such as AT&T Wireless (NYSE:AWE), Cingular Wireless, Sprint (NYSE:FON) and Verizon (NYSE:VZ).
Premium SMS short code numbers which translate into names such as "games," "scores," and "videos," are extremely valuable.
Once these names have been registered with the carriers, users simply have to type in these names on their cell phones and they can immediately download content. The carriers would bill the subscribers directly and Global would then receive funds directly from the carriers.
This will significantly streamline the companies' operations, as additional staff, servers and maintenance shall not be required.
