Megola Announces New Additions to Advisory Board

CORUNNA, Ontario, Oct. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Megola, Inc. (OTCBB:MGOA), a leading solution provider in physical water treatment, microbiological control, wastewater treatment and air purification, is pleased to announce today that Paul Dersam and Willard Brown have joined the company's Advisory Board.

"Paul Dersam and Willard Brown are very welcome additions to Megola's expanding advisory board. Even though our management team has a wealth of expertise in a variety of key industries, the company benefits greatly from the specialized knowledge our advisors bring to the table, helping us to attract and support a growing list of clients and distributors. Surrounding ourselves with honest, talented people is enabling Megola to build a stronger, more successful company," adds Joel Gardner, Chief Executive Officer of Megola Inc.

Paul Dersam brings over 40 years of experience in the agricultural sector (specifically the dairy industry) to Megola's management team. Currently, he is the Quality Assurance Manager for Bison Foods' Cultured Products Division. He also publishes a monthly article in Hoard's Dairyman magazine and is a frequent guest speaker throughout the world regarding milk quality issues, regulatory compliance and dairy farm management. His current professional affiliations include positions with the National Milk Producers Federation and the Dairy Practices Council.

Mr. Dersam began his career serving in various technical and managerial positions in the Dairymen's League Cooperative Association in Buffalo, NY, before taking on a series of higher-level supervisory and managerial positions at Upstate Farms Cooperative, Inc., in Leroy, NY. His past professional affiliations include positions as President and Executive Secretary of several Milk and Food Sanitarians associations and as President of the Empire State Mastitis Council. Mr. Dersam is a graduate of Alfred Agricultural and Technical Institute with a degree in Applied Science in Animal Husbandry.

"Mr. Dersam's resume speaks for itself. His extensive knowledge and experience in the dairy industry will be a huge asset to Megola as we continue to make significant progress in agricultural markets," adds Gardner.

Willard "Buzz" Brown brings over 20 years of business management knowledge to Megola's advisory board. He is President and Owner of J&C Ice Technologies, Inc., a distributor for Zamboni in the mid-Atlantic region and also owns and operates Island Style Construction Company in Nantucket, a custom home-building company. A few years ago he formed Physical H20 Treatment Co. to market and distribute Megola water treatment products in the Eastern United States. Mr. Brown is a graduate of St Lawrence University.

"Buzz has been a real "work horse" for Megola in the East. He has opened many new doors for Megola, finding new applications for our water and air treatment technologies. While continuing to provide these valuable opportunities for the company, his extensive business knowledge should prove to be an asset to our team," concludes Gardner.
