STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Inter IKEA Investments has submitted a request to Skanska to reclassify 2,000,000 Skanska A shares to the comparable number of B shares. As a result of the reclassification, Inter IKEA Investments' share of voting rights declines from 10.9% to 8.6%.
After reclassification, the number of A shares in Skanska will amount to 28,540,898, while the number of B shares in the company will total 390,012,174.
