First Horizon Expands Southeast Commercial Banking Team


MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- First Horizon Corporate Financial Services, the national commercial banking group of First Horizon National Corp. (NYSE:FHN) has expanded its Southeast team with the opening of offices in Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta. These offices are in addition to the Winston-Salem, N.C., office that opened in March. Veteran commercial bankers with in-market experience have been hired in each office.

These expansions -- new offices opened in markets with strong potential and a good pool of talent -- are part of First Horizon National Corp.'s strategy to grow into a national financial services provider for commercial banking services. In addition to the recent expansion in the Southeast, First Horizon Corporate Financial Services also has a new office in Dallas.
