Dassault Awards the First High-Gain Antenna For the Falcon 7X to EMS SATCOM

EMS Announces Another First

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELMG) announced today at the National Business Aviation Association's 57h Annual Meeting & Convention, that the EMS AMT-50 Aero High-Gain Antenna has been selected by Dassault Falcon for the first satcom installation on a Falcon 7X. The Falcon 7X introduces the next generation of business travel with uncompromising cabin comfort and Dassault's signature three-engine design.

Dr. Neil Mackay, EMS SATCOM's general manager and senior vice president stated: "The AMT-50 antenna's design was initially perceived as radically different from those available at the time, but has resulted in a very light, efficient and reliable aviation solution for all of our OEMs, dealers and, especially, our end customers. It continues to be the Inmarsat antenna of choice for both Inmarsat Aero H/H+ and Swift 64 voice and high-speed data transmission. Over 1000 AMT-50 antennas have been installed since 1995 on a wide variety of corporate and military aircraft, including the Falcon 50, 900, 2000, 7X, the Bombardier Challenger and Global Express (including the Global 5000 and XRS), the Cessna Citation X, the Boeing BBJ, and the Gulfstream 4000 and 5000. We have been honored to be part of the Dassault supplier team since 1994 and by our upcoming relationship on the 7X program."

"EMS Technologies has played an important role in our aircraft for some time and the AMT-50 Antenna has been installed on over 215 Dassault business aircraft to date," said Jean Rosanvallon, president of Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. "We expect them to play a key role on the Falcon 7X aircraft program as well."
