The remaining 2,360 bags are in production and are expected to be shipped out within the 30 to 45 days. The bags are intended for use by Navy Corpsman working side by side with combat Marines in Afganistan and Iraq. Navy Corpsman and Army medics have one of the most dangerous jobs on the battlefield. The ability to load the bag with essential mission-related trauma equipment and its quick accessibility while in the kill zone helps save the wounded warrior and the corpsman/medic providing the aid.
