Sciax Announces New Wolf Pack Search Pole Design in Partnership with Eomax

BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, Oct. 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sciax Corp. (Pink Sheets:SCXC) and Eomax Corp. have announced today that Eomax has completed design work on new folding, extendible search poles for the Wolf Pack(tm) system. These new poles are the first example of the R&D and design partnership created between Eomax and Sciax in late July of this year.

Sciax will use design information and engineering drawings supplied by Eomax to begin manufacturing plans for the new poles. "This new pole design adds functionality and further ergonomic advantage to the Wolf Pack system and we are looking forward to beginning production," stated Ralph Manore, Vice President of Operations for Sciax. "The Eomax team have created a new product that cleverly addresses ergonomic and application issues allowing Sciax to introduce a capability that is currently not available in the marketplace," added Mr. Manore. The launch customer for the 8.5m version of the new Eomax pole design is the French Customs Department who have ordered several Wolf Pack systems from Sciax.

The Wolf Pack(tm) is a highly modularized opto-electronic remote viewing system used by law enforcement and military personnel. The reconfigurable, multi-operational design of Wolf Pack(tm) makes the system ideal for many applications in physical security, drug and contraband interdiction, tactical response and protective security. Wolf Pack(tm) electronics and optical components are built to high standards of durability, allowing successful deployment in harsh conditions that would prohibit the use of many conventional imaging systems.
