eMax Holdings Corporation Appoints Jimmy Velvet to Board of Directors


ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eMax Holdings Corporation (Pink Sheets:EMXC) today announced it has appointed Jimmy Velvet to their Board of Directors.

In 1957 Jimmy Velvet recorded Blue Velvet before forming a boy girl duo called "Kit and Kory." Some of Jimmy's hit records included "Blue Velvet," "To The Isle," "Mission Bell," "It's Almost Tomorrow" and "Teen Angel."

Jimmy Velvet met Rock N' Roll legend Elvis Presley at the Gator Bowl in 1955 during a Hank Snow Show. Since, Elvis and Jimmy formed a close relationship before Elvis's untimely death. After Elvis passed, Jimmy felt there should be a tribute to Elvis in Memphis so he opened the Elvis Presley Museum on June 1, 1978.

Jimmy has owned and managed establishments located in Honolulu (1982), Orlando (1984), Nashville (1987), Kissimmee (1990), and Branson 1993. Jimmy Velvet has amassed one of the largest authentic collections of artifacts previously owned by the King of Rock and Roll, outside of Graceland. The collection is comprised of hundreds of personal items including automobiles, jewelry, wardrobe, motorcycles, guns, awards, furniture, documents, and much more.

In 1993 Jimmy Velvet opened Legends and Superstars Hall of Fame in Branson. Mr. Velvet owns personal items from legends such as: John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Burt Reynolds, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Conway Twitty, and many others.
