Wall Street News Alert: U.S. Hot Stock Highlights -- October 27, Part 2

WESTON, Fla., Oct. 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Golden Opportunity Resources, Inc., (Pink Sheets:GDNO), Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq:MSFT), Flextronics International Ltd. (Nasdaq:FLEX) and Calpine Corporation (NYSE:CPN).

Aggressive investors and traders need to watch Golden Opportunity Resources, Inc., (OTC: GDNO) this morning! Recently the company, a junior oil and gas exploration company, issued a press release announcing that the drilling of the Sterling 10-7 hole on the Black Tiger prospect has reached a depth of 2100 feet of the proposed 3000-foot hole into the Tyler formation and the hole is anticipated to be completed by Thursday October 28th!

This could be great news for investors! The Black Tiger is in the heart of the Tyler depositional fairway and is approximately 7 miles southeast of the Winnett Junction Oil field, which has produced over 30,000 barrels of sweet Tyler oil. Upper & lower Tyler alluvial point bar, deltaic distributary and delta fringe sands have been deposited in substantial quantities throughout the prospect area. The Black Tiger is also located along the structural axis of the Devil's Basin Anticline. It is believed that the zone of most severe fracturing of an anticlinal fold should occur along its axis.

Investors watch this company! According to the press release, The Tyler channel system is the primary target of this prospect. There is ample evidence of significant Tyler deposition in this area. Tyler oil has been produced in the Thomas No. 1, No. 15-1 and No. 15-2 in section 15 of the Black Tiger prospect. Since the sands of the Tyler are a shoestring geometry of fluvial meander belt to deltaic deposition, productive sands thin and shale out in very short distances. But history within the Tyler depositional area has proved without a doubt, that if a Tyler sand with shows of oil are present, a productive Tyler field is close by.

The stock trades at around Nineteen cents a share.

In case you are not familiar with the company: Golden Opportunity Resources is a junior oil and gas exploration company focused on finding and developing undervalued oil and gas assets worldwide. Their plan is to build up a solid base of core projects that provide recurring monthly cash flows and on occasion enter into wildcat high risk/reward wells to add the potential of aggressive growth in their company for their shareholders.

Stocks showing interesting activity yesterday at the close of the regular trading day were: Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) up 0.9% on 76.5 million shares traded, Flextronics International Ltd. (NASDAQ: FLEX) down 6.9% on 29.2 million shares traded and Calpine Corporation (NYSE: CPN) down 0.4% on 15.1 million shares traded.

Commentary:
