Woe is the World -- Author Details God's Warnings in New Book

HATTIESBURG, Miss., Nov. 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Many people call themselves Christians, yet do things that stiffly contradict the principles of that ethos. In the new book, Woe Woe Woe: God's Echoing Woeful Warnings (now available through AuthorHouse), author Excell Crudup Jr. reminds people of the tenets of Christian living and reveals the face of the Anti Christ.

"One of the purposes of this book is to introduce to the reader a study tool I call 'spiritual transliteration,'" Crudup says. "It helps the earnest student gain a spiritual understanding when reading God's scriptures in the Holy Bible."

Woe Woe Woe brings the true knowledge of God's words to the hearts of readers. Crudup uses Scripture interpretation to address the subjects of attaining salvation and resisting temptation. The book begins with the creation of the universe and travels through the books of the Bible. Along the way, Crudup provides pertinent verses and explains their meaning.

The main goal of Woe Woe Woe, however, is to alert the reader of the warnings God has given them. Evil is always lurking, and Satan waits to recruit the most unsuspecting Christian with even the slightest deviation from the path of righteousness. As the world becomes more chaotic, the time for the Anti-Christ draws near, Crudup says. He reveals this unholy being for what it is and exhibits Scripture passages that allude to how one can avoid damnation.

First in a four part series, Woe Woe Woe was written to save the souls of God's children before Satan and his minions wrap their claws around them with sin.

Born on the Fourth of July in a small Mississippi town, Crudup says he was often distracted in school by the constant family conflict that waited for him at home. He left after his freshman year and survived through modest self employment. At 32, he suffered a work related accident that left him disabled, and a fire destroyed his home. His life changed when he was given a Bible. Through meditation and prayer, he received a spiritual education. Woe Woe Woe is his first book.
