The Feminine Face of Change

Powerful New Book Exhorts the Modern Woman to Take the Next Evolutionary Step

GRASS VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Some of the most powerful landslides of social change have been initiated by a single individual who, sensing a new time, dares to move just one grain of thought and unleashes an irresistible evolutionary force. Victoria Theresa Covell's provocative new book, The Evolutionary Woman of the 21st Century, exhorts women to take the next evolutionary step-to extend their natural feminine gifts past twentieth century supportive participation and move courageously to the forefront into twenty-first century positions of leadership. Popular titles such as The Di Vinci Code, The Secret Life of Bees, and The Red Tent, which celebrate the feminine as healer, teacher, and leader, are being avidly discussed throughout the nation, yet there is little material available for women patterning how to embody these roles.

The Evolutionary Woman of the 21st Century is a call to action that reasons that the women's movement has not achieved its fullest potential because it has remained stuck in a masculine arena, fighting uphill with competitive tools that are not inherently its own. Women need not look farther for a perfect model of performance than within. The feminine gifts of nurture, intuition, attention to the long view, and teamwork are the ideals best suited to answering the needs of an unsustainable society. The leadership of the feminine has been gestating for centuries and now in the twenty-first century, its moment of birth has arrived.

In modeling a dynamic modern myth, The Evolutionary Woman of the 21st Century, will enable women to emancipate Earth from its deep origins in the violent legends of old by establishing the radical archetype of the global woman leader of peace. "There is no greater power on Earth that the twenty-first century woman may possess than living an idea whose time has come. It is my intention to cause an irresistible evolutionary wave to rise in the hearts of women everywhere. By breaking through the corroding barriers of tradition, this flood tide will now urgently course out over the landscape of apathy to impassion women into social action," says Covell.
