Asia Broadband Expands Distribution Channels Via Junnet Holdings Agreement

ATLANTA and SHANGHAI, PR China, Nov. 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Asia Broadband, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ASAB) announced today that its China subsidiary, Shanghai Broadband Network, Inc. has entered into a 1-year agreement with Junnet Holdings Co., Ltd. The agreement represents yet another expansion of the sales and distribution channels for Asia Broadband's content-rich educational products throughout China.

Under the agreement Junnet initially will offer ASAB's online IE21 E-Ya Kids English program (www.eyakids.com) on its popular website where it can be accessed nationwide with the new pre-paid kids card. Formerly a pure online game and entertainment provider, Junnet (www.jcards.cn) recently entered the e-learning market by developing partnership links with major educational institutions and other entities involved in online training. Currently, Junnet has more than 6.5 million registered, paid subscribers.

Yuguo Zhang, CEO of Asia Broadband, said that this is a significant event in the continuing development of Asia Broadband, and is very similar to the contract that the Company signed last month with Chinakids Network. "I believe this agreement with Junnet demonstrates the continuity and consistency of our marketing plans," Mr. Zhang said. "The fact that Junnet Holdings is one of the Top Three Entertainment Networks in China illustrates our ability to partner with diverse companies to distribute our educational products throughout the broad China market. We look forward to further expanding our relationship with Junnet eventually to include our comprehensive English as a Second Language training solution, IE21 Interactive English, and our increasingly popular Business Writing Course."
