For DIS Deutscher Industrie Service AG, 2004 is to be an historical year. After the forecasts had been already increased on the publication of the six-month figures, the Dusseldorf-based group is now expecting to post record sales and earnings for 2004. For the whole of the year, this means a sales forecast of EUR 260 million (previously: EUR 255 million) and a result of EUR 25 million (previous: EUR 22.5 million). This could make this year the most successful one in its 37 years since being established. In the third quarter of 2004, DIS AG posted a sales upturn of 24.2 percent to EUR 72.2 million. In the same period, the result was increased considerably, by 63% to EUR 10.5 million.

At the same time, DIS AG confirmed at today's press conference that it is currently recruiting 700 experts across Germany across all its divisions: Finance, Industry, Information Technology, Office & Management and Engineering. Since the beginning of the year, DIS AG has increased its staffing level by ten percent, creating 600 jobs in the process.

"Our growth is the result of a radical transformation in the perception of temporary work -- among employees as well as employers, unions and politicians", states CEO Dieter Scheiff. "New temporary work is developing to an independent work market with a future on a ustained basis." Over the next years, the CEO of the market leader for temporary specialised and management staff, expects DIG AG to continue growing faster than the market.
