STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- RNB's sales in october 2004 increased by 1.4 % in comparable stores, against the same month last year.
As a consequence of the implemented restructuring within the company, the number of own stores has reduced from 96 last year to 84, as of 31 october 2004. Total sales in own stores for october 2004 attained 92,1 million kronor, compared to 103,5 million kronor for the same month last year.
rnb Retail and Brands AB comprises of the business areas, Polarn O. Pyret and Portwear Retail. Polarn O. Pyret is a branded company with distribution to its own stores and franchises in Sweden, as well as franchises in other countries. Portwear Retail is a distribution platform for national and international brands through stores in NK as well as store concepts Solo, Champagne and Saks.
