US Marines in Iraq Report Favorable Utilization Of CTBs in Operation Iraqi Freedom

DEL MAR, Calif., Nov. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Security Technology (HSTJ) announced today that the company has scheduled delivery of approximately 2,000 Combat Trauma Bags for November 2004. The Bags are used by Navy Corpsman in support of US Marine Combat operations in the mideast specifically Iraq.

Reports coming from the battle lines have indicated a favorable response. Commenting on the CTB, The Commanding Officer from one of the lead Marine battalions in Falluja observed, "Every Corpsman carries one. It is part of our pre-combat inspections & checks...the Docs really like how they ride on them as well as how they serve as a small work platform when they pull them in front. The Bags hold what they need for immediate treatment in a good compact but still workable manner."

Several Marine Corps battalions returning from the mid-east have immediately placed re-orders on the CTBs. Homeland Security Technology Inc. management is in the process of introducing the CTB to the Army Special Operations Community at Ft Bragg, North Carolina. As more and more units report favorable results using the CTB's in the field it is anticipated that market penetration will occur throughout all branches of the US armed forces.
