Sharing the Truth and Not Exactly Truth -- Author's Search for God Yields Revealing Book

SPRINGFIELD, Penn., Nov. 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The search for truth seems never ending. Some look to philosophy while others gaze into the sacred texts of religion. R.W. Mills prefers the latter and his new book, Truth- Not Exactly: A Book for Truth Seekers and Those They Care About (now available through AuthorHouse) is the result of his quest.

Mills began life as an atheist, a secular scholar seeking the truth. Using a process he dubs "Deductive Theology," he searched for God with careful investigation and scrutiny. However, besides faith and reason, there are other factors that led to his findings.

"Discovery of truth is driven by the laws of this universe. They are unchanging and, by deduction, point one to the necessity of God. The search is based on certain assumptions that would need to be proved," Mills says.

One of these assumptions is that a logical God would communicate with its creation, which leads to a critical search for "Revealed Truth," information that no one could have known when it was written. The book exhibits God's prophesies as they were revealed to humans. According to Mills, numerous historical events were chronicled long before they occurred, from the fall of Rome to the rise of communism. Furthermore, the book provides a new understanding of future events that have already been prophesied.

"God has predicted in writing each detailed fulfillment in history to come to pass for all to see. The truth is that the next event will surely happen the way God has revealed it," Mills says. "This is probably the one book everyone needs to read, even if they disagree."

Truth- Not Exactly is not only designed to enlighten and challenge, but also to inform about the events prophesied to come.

Mills was a street kid born to alcoholic parents. At 16, he was thrown out of the house and by 19, he was drafted into the Air Force. He later earned a bachelor's degree in engineering, a master's degree in business and attended management school at Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. An atheist who became curious and researched God's existence, Mills has taught high school and college students, led an inner city basketball program, served on numerous boards and worked with a variety of church organizations. His mission has always been to share the truth, which he does in Truth- Not Exactly, his first book. For more information, visit his Web site at www.truthnotexactly.com.
