Environmental Technologies Announces Formation of an AWE Systems Advisory Board and The Appointment of an Internationally Recognized Pure Water Expert

TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Environmental Technologies International Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is extremely pleased to welcome Mr. Athol 'Al' E. Meder as a Member of the Company's newly instituted AWE Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will consist of members who are able to bring particular expertise to one or more aspects of the Company's endeavours concerning the challenge of adapting, and commercializing, the AWE building-systems technology for mass markets. "We at EMTI are very enthused concerning the market potential of the AWE technology, and believe that an advisory board composed of such industry luminaries as Mr. Meder will greatly assist the Company in realizing that potential to the fullest extent," said EMTI President Harold Clifford.

President and CEO of Pure Water Inc., designer, manufacturer, and marketer of distilled water systems, and Manager of Pure & Secure LLC, Mr. Meder brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the 'pure water' aspects of the AWE system technology, including domestic and international marketing. Mr. Meder's distilled water systems have been installed in nearly every U.S. Embassy around the world, and in many U.S. ambassadors' residences.

LARGE AND GROWING MARKETS FOR ULTRA-HIGH-PURITY WATER

The markets for extra-pure water include numerous major industries such as laboratories, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, microelectronics, food processors and semiconductor manufacturers, as well as institutions such as hospitals and other healthcare facilities and research centres. Because many microelectronic processes require ample supplies of ultra-pure water, the multibillion-dollar High-Tech industry is a major target market for the Company's 'AWE' building-environment system.

AWE -- The Promise Of Healthier IAQ

The Company's AWE technology has the demonstrated ability to virtually eliminate building mold and, by improving ventilation, significantly reduce the amount of pollutants in a building's 'atmosphere'. It will materially improve Indoor Air Quality with a system that will also reduce electrical costs, thus paying for its installation in the near term, and lowering overall building-operation costs over the long term. Protected by patents, the technology includes a modification of the ingenious Thermosyphon Heat Transfer Loop developed by NASA, and to this day used by NASA on the space shuttle. Since the NASA patents expired, Environmental Technologies' wholly-owned subsidiary, AWE (Air, Water, Energy) Engineering Inc. has adapted and modified the technology for commercial use in a wide variety of buildings, and is in the process of developing the system to address mass markets around the globe.
