Davidson Hotel Company Begins Upgrade of Holiday Inn Atlanta-Roswell

Multi-Million Dollar Renovation Transforms Property Throughout

ROSWELL, Ga., Nov. 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Davidson Hotel Company of Memphis has started a multi-million dollar renovation of its Holiday Inn Atlanta-Roswell property which will transform the seven-story, 172-room hotel by year end.

The renovation touches all aspects of the full-service hotel. The scope of work includes new soft and case goods for all guest rooms and bathrooms and new lighting, carpeting and wall coverings in corridors, public areas, and meeting spaces. The restaurant and grand lobby are also slated for a makeover.

"Our dynamic transformation of this property will enhance what is already an exceptional property in a thriving community," said Wilton Hill, president of Davidson Hotel Company. "Once the renovation is completed, we will be able to offer a superior lodging experience for visitors to the Atlanta area."

Davidson Hotel Company, a Memphis-based company focused on hotel development and management, has owned the Holiday Inn Atlanta-Roswell since 1988.

The full-service hotel offers an array of amenities to its corporate and leisure guests, including high-speed Internet access, a state-of-the-art business center, an on-site fitness center and an outdoor pool, among others. The property is located at 1075 Holcomb Bridge Rd. in Roswell, Ga. With proximity to Atlanta's main business corridors, major airports, shopping, theaters, and restaurants, the hotel is a frequently chosen location for conferences, meetings and special events.

"Customers will be very pleased with all of the changes," said Hill, "not the least of which will be the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies."
