After The Bell Market Commentary
On Friday, U.S. stocks tumble on dollar slide and a spike in oil prices. Blue chips posted a triple-digit loss to erase their gains for the week, after Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's remarks about the dangers of current account deficits. The Dow fell 115.64 points, or 1.1%, to 10,456.91. The Nasdaq shed 33.65 points, or 1.6%, to 2070.63, after closing above 2,100 Thursday for the first time since late January. The S&P 500 was off 13.21 points, or 1.1%, at 1,170.34, having hit a three-year high a week ago.
