EMTI's Awe Engineering Inc. to Enhance Its Proprietary Technology

TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Environmental Technologies International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to announce that Mr. Doug Johnson, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Research & Development for EMTI's wholly-owned subsidiary, Awe Engineering Inc., has embarked upon plans to incorporate -- into the AWE system currently under development -- ideas and technology successfully used by Mr. Al Meder, founder of Pure & Secure LLC., and now a member of AWE's Advisory Board. As a result, the Company expects to enhance its proprietary technology in regards to its ability to produce and market valuable pure water while reducing mold and mildew and improving a building's overall Indoor Air Quality.

The founder of Pure & Secure LLC., a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of distilled water systems, Mr. Meder brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the 'pure water' aspects of the AWE system technology, as well as a strong record of accomplishments in domestic and international marketing. Mr. Meder is often a distinguished guest speaker to groups and boards on the topic "Water Security in the 21st Century" an issue of considerable concern to everyone since 9/11. He has an enviable record of business achievements at the senior level, including 5 years as a Technical Brand Manager for Procter and Gamble Company, and a 13-year career with Amway Corporation, where he held several senior positions, including Director - Policy Administration/Chief of Staff, and VP - International Marketing.

Awe Engineering Chief Operating Officer and Director of R&D, Doug Johnson, developed the proprietary 'AWE' technology (Air - Water - Energy) over a period of years, and successfully converted two buildings in the State of Florida, in which the AWE system has greatly improved those buildings' IAQ, while controlling mold and significantly reducing electricity consumption.

AWE -- The Promise Of Healthier IAQ

The Company's AWE technology has the demonstrated ability to virtually eliminate building mold and, by improving ventilation, significantly reduce the amount of pollutants in a building's 'atmosphere.' It will materially improve Indoor Air Quality with a system that will also reduce electrical costs, thus paying for its installation in the near term, and lowering overall building-operation costs over the long term. Protected by patents, the technology includes a modification of the ingenious Thermosyphon Heat Transfer Loop developed by NASA, and to this day used by NASA on the space shuttle. Since the NASA patents expired, Environmental Technologies' wholly-owned subsidiary, AWE (Air, Water, Energy) Engineering Inc. has adapted and modified the technology for commercial use in a wide variety of buildings, and is in the process of developing the system to address mass markets around the globe.
