                   StockPickReport Commentary

Still Overbought: We continue to think the markets are overbought. Our view of Stochastics is that the S&P 500 is at a short-term top. The last two times Stochastics was at current levels, the market sold-off.

Member Comments: Sometimes you will have a "weak buy" on a stock, but indicators like a 50 day moving average show the stock is breaking out of a base. Even as this upsurge happens you may still only have a "weak buy" on the stock. Why?

Our Answer: When a stock moves up over its 50-day moving average, it is, by definition, moving closer to "overbought". Many times, Stochastics, RSI, and MACD will reflect this overbought nature. Our "weak buy" rating answers this dilemma. We give a "Weak buy" to suggest that there IS still upside but the upside should be limited.

Member Comments: Why don't you make picks for stocks traded on the Toronto exchange as well?

Our Answer: We used to have a service for Canadian stocks. The demand was substantial. There were hundreds of investors who used our Canadian Strong Buy service. Yet, we were not satisfied with the data feeds we received for that service from outside vendors. We are in the process of finding more accurate data now. Look for the addition of a Canadian service soon.

Member Comments: What is the basis for the strong sell list?

Our Answer: We look for stocks that have moved up beyond a level we feel is sustainable over the next week or two. This is achieved by using a combination of technical indicators in concert to arrive at one number. This number ranges from 0 to 100. The closer to 100, the less we like the stock. A "strong sell" rated stock is a stock we see at these high levels (near 100).
