Food Safe International Announces Acquisition of Apollo Scientific Group


TORONTO,, Dec. 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- * Food Safe's technology, ozone equipment and distribution in Europe and Asia to be launched through Apollo Scientific. Food Safe's ozone equipment and distribution to be incorporated into Apollo Scientific and marketed for multiple applications.

Food Safe International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:FSIJ) announced today that new officers and directors of the company have been appointed as part of the acquisition of Apollo Scientific Group, a Biotech Research & Development company. Over the next few weeks Food Safe intends to announce its new corporate office locations, name change, trading symbol change and a new website.

The new CEO, Eugene Zabolotsky, most recently served as President of the EZMED Inc., a consulting company that provides business services to healthcare corporations, ranging from medical group practices to start-up biotechnology companies seeking to introduce products or services to the marketplace, his skills in technology commercialization and raising capital will be invaluable to the growth of Food Safe International.

Mr. Zabolotsky stated, "We are very pleased with recent developments and looking forward to taking FSIJ to the next level, we look forward to putting together a new management team and advisory board to bring value to this company and enhance shareholder value."
