MailKey Targets $6.4 Billion Gaming Market With Envoy Platform

LONDON and NEW YORK, Dec. 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- MailKey Corporation (OTCBB:MAKY) ("MailKey") today announces that it has retained William Grimes as a consultant to assist in the identification of opportunities in the gambling and gaming markets for the exploitation of the Company's Envoy messaging management platform.

Tim Dean-Smith, CEO of MailKey, said, "The Envoy platform which the company has developed has powerful rules and decisioning capabilities. The company is now seeking to commercially exploit Envoy in multiple markets. The gaming market is forecast to grow to annual revenues of $6.4 billion by the end of 2006."

Mr. Grimes has over 30 years of experience in the gaming industry and is fully conversant with the requirements of regulatory bodies and gaming companies in all the major jurisdictions worldwide. Mr. Grimes was, until recently, International Development Director of one of the UK's major publicly listed gaming companies. Mr. Grimes said, "One of the major concerns of both operators and regulators is ensuring that the public has a secure system that ensures wagers are placed securely and that minors are not gambling. The Envoy platform will give regulators, operators and consumers the ability to enjoy multi-platform gaming with confidence."

Charles Ashley, Vice President of Software and Platforms, who is leading MailKey's Envoy development program, said, "Utilizing Envoy's rules and decisioning capabilities, gaming companies will be able to develop and deploy cross-platform game services on mobile phones, PDAs and PCs. Potential for development include such services as roulette, card games, mahjong, competitions and lotteries. Envoy's encryption and authentication technology will ensure that the services can be deployed securely."
