The NASDAQ Composite gained 41.42 or 1.98% closing at 2,138.23 and the NASDAQ exchange's volume increased 24% to 2.29 billion shares. On NASDAQ, advancers outpaced decliners 2,126 to 1,021 with 314 new 52-week highs and 14 new lows.
