OMNIMAGO Invests in Real-Time Image Enhancement from Digital Vision


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The German post-production facility OMNIMAGO invests in state-of-the-art motion compensated image enhancement from Digital Vision. The system includes the AGR4 grain & noise reducer as well as the motion compensated dirt & scratch concealer ASC3 ME and is to be used in their digital restoration suite.

Olaf Legenbauer, Head of Film department at OMNIMAGO says, "We decided to choose Digital Vision's ASC3 to remove dirt spots and scratches in real time before continuing the digital restoration with our existing software restoration tools. The ASC3 will help us to cut down processing time." Olaf continues, "Different systems were tested but the Digital Vision solution was the only system meeting our high requirements in cleaning the pictures without noticeable artefacts."
