EMTI's AWE Marketing Team To Expand Horizons. . . Targeting Global Markets

TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Environmental Technologies International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to announce that it intends to seek out offshore distributors for its AWE building HVAC retrofit units currently being developed for mass markets. Initially, Management intends to focus on those geographical regions, both in the United States and around the globe, that must contend with the extreme indoor environmental control problems typical of tropical and/or semi-tropical climates, i.e. excessive heat and humidity that fosters building mold and mildew as well as a scarcity of high-purity, potable water in many such regions. A shortage of electrical energy, reflected in very high costs, also coincides with these indoor environmental problems in many regions of the globe.

Targeting The Markets Most In Need

As engineering and prototype development work proceeds with a view to having an AWE Technology retrofit unit suitable for mass markets completed in 2005, the Company is beginning to formalize its marketing plans and gear-up for the eventual product launch. Management has concluded that it will be advisable to launch AWE in certain geographical areas simultaneously, as these target areas represent the greatest potential for a successful market entry. While the AWE technology offers the common benefits of improved IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) and lower electrical power costs for building operators in virtually any climate, the benefits are clearly greater in those high-humidity climates where very poor IAQ and accompanying mold problems are most troublesome and costly to eradicate.

The AWE Technology

The intended use of AWE's proprietary technology in building heating/cooling, energy, and water systems is global in scope and is estimated to exceed many billions of dollars. In addition, the system also produces pure water for use by building tenants. It is a leading-edge technological advance which, when developed for building-environment (HVAC) control systems, is expected to find broad acceptance owing to the fact that the savings in building maintenance/operations garnered by the system will in fact pay for itself many times over.

The developer of the technology, AWE Engineering Inc. -- now a wholly owned subsidiary of EMTI -- has successfully converted two facilities in the state of Florida and demonstrated energy savings in excess of 50% in both conversions while materially improving Air Quality. Simultaneously, this technology has produced and distributed the purest and freshest drinking water compared to any and all other types of concepts utilized in improving water for human consumption in today's market.
