WHAT: Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the El Segundo Rotary Club will fly-in Santa Claus by helicopter to spring holiday cheer to 250 kindergarten students from Richmond Street, Center Street, and Paseo del Rey Elementary Schools. Santa will read a holiday story, followed by a special presentation of Los Angeles International Airport's explosives detection canine unit. WHO: Santa and the LAX canines will entertain 250 kindergarten students from Richmond Street, Center Street and Paseo del Rey Elementary Schools. WHEN: Wednesday, December 8 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Santa lands at 10:15 a.m.) In case of inclement weather: no helicopter fly-in, but event will continue WHERE: Flight Path Learning Center LAX Imperial Terminal 6661 Imperial Highway (off California Street) Los Angeles, CA DIRECTIONS TO EVENT: Take westbound I-105 Century Freeway to westbound Imperial Highway, turn right (north) on California Street, turn left (west) onto service road parallel to Imperial Highway.
