Asia Broadband Announces the Launch of Industry-Specific Language Training Solutions

ATLANTA and SHANGHAI, Dec. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Following the successful release of the Business Writing Course, adapted and integrated by Asia Broadband (Pink Sheets:ASAB) through the partnership with Reallyenglish.com for its China market, the Company announces that its Chinese subsidiary, Shanghai Broadband Network (SBN), has launched two new online training courses, Business E-speed Reading and English for IT Engineers. The release of new e-learning programs is the next step in the development of tailor-made training solutions for its corporate clients.

Designed for learners who have achieved a good level of English comprehension but want to substantially improve their reading speed and efficiency, the Business E-speed Reading Course contains a highly innovative eye-training activity center and materials that give access to real business texts and key business skills. The management-level employees of the Company's existing and potential corporate clients have already expressed their strong interest in the course, recognizing it as an effective tool to assist in managing extensive business correspondence.

English for IT Engineers is a distinctive new course offering a flexible English learning system for engineers and other professionals involved in IT (information technology) related fields. With the unique structure of its lessons, it is aimed at improving the ability to communicate in English in the international IT workplace.

Graham Brant, the President of Asia Broadband, stated, "Asia Broadband has a significant advantage over its competitors on the fast-growing and challenging e-learning market. Compared with large-size training providers, we are flexible enough to meet the specific needs of our clients, and to deliver tailor-made learning solutions in an individual approach. However, the Company is large enough to develop its own multimedia, state-of-the-art, academically approved and technology sound products, based on market requirements. Looking ahead, we plan to release more industry-specific language training programs in 2005."

Concurrently with the launch of these programs, Asia Broadband created a website (http://bp.ie21.com.cn) to host Business Writing, Speed Reading and IT English Courses and to provide additional support for all current Business and Professional English Programs and future developments.
