Boy on the Moon -- New Children's Book Tells of One Boy's Out of this World Adventure

TOMBALL, Texas, Dec. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Years ago, Charles G. Danna, Sr., completed his new children's book, A Living on the Moon Adventure but decided to pursue its release now. The reason was President Bush's speech on colonizing the moon, rekindling his belief in this story and its sequels.

Complete with colorful and unique illustrations, A Living on the Moon Adventure tells the fascinating story of Frank, a young boy moving to the moon who realizes that things he took for granted on earth are now much more difficult to overcome on the moon. Every day, he learns more and more, getting used to doing things lunar fashion.

In the book, Frank's experiences and adventures on the moon are our future. "I am focusing on possibilities for a future that our children may live in as adults. Traveling to the moon may very well be in our near future," says Danna, a father of five. In A Living on the Moon Adventure, he sparks a curiosity in children's minds, something that will steer a kid to invent or head an expedition, or maybe pursue a future in the space industry.

About the Author

Born in St. Louis Mo, the eighth of nine children, Charles G. Danna, Sr., was raised on a not-so-ordinary place ('The Farm'--a story in itself). As a child he was considered a little eccentric staying to himself most of the time, teaching himself how to play the piano and writing his first music composition by twelve years old. He would invent and build projects to pass the time. His favorite talent is writing and drawing. Writing has always been an outlet both for children and adult science fiction. His art is even more expressed being combined with his stories. Friends today consider him a renaissance man, creative and imaginative. Charles G. Danna, Sr., is a new published author with fresh new stories for both child and adult.
