The Story of Creation for Kids -- Author Presents Book That Answers Questions About Christianity

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Clarence Edwards Sr.'s new book, Little Rowena: Story of Creation (now available through AuthorHouse) is an engaging story for young Christian readers to learn about how God created the world. It is meant to build a foundation of Christian beliefs.

Rowena is learning the concepts of Christianity for the first time. Tommy, her older brother, reads to her from the Bible and answers the many questions she has about God and his message. He teaches her that the Bible is the final authority on the beginning of life and that Scripture is the voice of the creator. God cannot help people if they do not believe that the Bible is his word, Tommy tells her, and that is why one must have faith.

"Little Rowena learns that the keys to eternal life were taken from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden when they were told by God, 'If you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die.' The only way for God to get them back was to send his son, Jesus Christ, in the form of a man for 'all the sins of the world' and get the keys of eternal life which he holds forever," Edwards writes.

Tommy and his friends, who are learning about evolutionism in school, do some investigating of their own. Scripture is used to answer many difficult questions, which help debunk Darwin's theory that man evolved "from amoeba, monkey, then man," Edwards writes.

Designed to teach young readers about creation, sin, Jesus and the impending rapture, Little Rowena: Story of Creation presents Christian fundamentals in a form that helps inquisitive young minds understand.

A born again Christian, Edwards has worked with Youth Motivation Task Force for five years and served for three years on the steering committee that operates in the Los Angeles school district. A poet as well, Edwards has received multiple honors from the International Poets Society. Little Rowena is his first book.
